presented a design challenge: "How does one convey
the breadth of the InsWeb offering without overloading customers or making navigation difficult?"
The solution: tabs for random-access across the site. Including tabs in the online applications presented a difficult programming task due to the web's "stateless" environment. Working directly with software engineers, we put together a solution, improving throughput by 40%. |
