One concern I had going into the project was what to do about the cultural differences between the US and Japan, and how they would affect the look and feel of the design. My Japanese colleagues on the project helped out by telling me that their audience would find the site to be more approachable if it mirrored the US version of the site, including some navigational and content items being left in English. |
